Yes & No. Let me explain.
You must have a real estate license to show homes and you can only be paid by your broker for real estate related activities. You can't be paid directly from another agent.
The REPC allows the broker or agent to have another agent show the Buyer some homes. "The Buyer authorizes the Buyer's Agent or the Broker to appoint another agent in the Company to also represent the Buyer in the event the Buyer's Agent or the Broker will be unavailable to service the Buyer." (Section 5.1 of the Exclusive Buyer-Broker Agreement & Agency Disclosure).
Let's say an agent offers to pay $100 to an agent in the brokerage to show homes. The agent would need to write the check to the brokerage and then the brokerage would be allowed to cut a check to the showing agent.
